I made this card as an alternate of the Lucky Clover Happy St. Patrick’s Day Card since the Lucky Clover Punch is no longer available. The touch of green background flecks and gold embossing adds a new element. Click here to see the Gold Lucky Clover Happy St Patrick’s Day Card Supplies.

Lucky Clover Itm # 160610

The background flecks were made by tapping the Bone Folder on the Dark Granny Apple Green Stampn’ Blends.

I used two inks; the VersaMark Ink mades the image sticky for the Embossing Powder and the Granny Apple Green gives it the green color. I inked the stamp with VersaMark, then Granny Apple Green over it then stamped it. I reinked it with the Granny Apple Green and stamped it again to give it the best color. The Stamparatus is perfect for layering the inks. Tip: You will want to clean off the stamp between cards so you do not make your VersaMark pad green.
I then added pinched Gold Embossing Powder in several places. Tip: When you go to remove the excess Embossing Powder, flip the card over to remove the excess. If you slowly turn the Cardstock over slowly you will have more Embossing Powder than you want as in slides accross the Cardstock.
Use the Heat Tool to heat-set the Powder.

I only embossed part of the Cardstock with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder,so the wording was easy to read.
