This Gift Carrier can be used for many purposes to hold gifts, table decoration, desk organizer, and more. It is easy to mix and match Cardstock and Designer Series Papers to create a variety. Click here to see the Celebrate Everything Gift Carrier Supplies.

Select at least 4 designs of the DSP (Designer Series Paper) you would like to use (2 on the outside and 2 on the inside). Cut 2 each of designs A and B – 3 ½” X 3 ½” for the outside. Cut 4 each of designs C and D – 3 ½” X 3 ½” for the inside. Take 2 each of the C and D designs for the inside and cut them diagonally from corner to corner. For the outside you will have a total of 4 squares and for the inside you will have a total of 4 squares and 8 triangles.

Select 2 colors of Cardstock that coordinate to layer behind the DSP. Cut 2 each of 2 colors – 3 ¾” X 3 ¾” for the outside. Cut 4 each of the same 2 colors – 3 ¾” X 3 ¾” for the inside. Take 2 each of the 2 colors for the inside and cut them diagonally from corner to corner. For the outside you will have a total of 4 squares and for the inside you will have a total of 4 squares and 8 triangles.

Adhere the DSP on the coordinating Cardstock with Stampin’ Seal.

Select a coordinating 12” X 12” Cardstock. Score at 4” and 8”. Turn Cardstock and score at 4” and 8”.

Score from center square to Cardstock corner on all four corners. Tip: When using the Paper Trimmer, I folded one of the 4” scored lines so that the 12” X 12” fit in the Paper Trimmer at an angle. I then folded each 4” scored line as needed to do all four corners.

Adhere outside pieces remembering that the square in the center is the bottom alternating A, B patterns.

Adhere inside piece remembering that the square in the center is the bottom alternating C, D patterns. Square C, Triangle D, Triangle C, Square D, Triangle C, Triangle D, Square C, Triangle D, Triangle C, Square D, Triangle C, and Triangle D.

Fold the corners outward and punch an ⅛” hole at least ¾” inch in from the corner. You don’t want to get too close to the tip or the Cardstock will rip through the metal ring.

Insert the 1 ¾” metal ring through two corners on each side of the knuckle of the ring. Tip: You can use a bigger metal ring which will make your Gift Carrier have more space on the inside.

Layout two ribbons and tie around the ring in the center. Layout the other two ribbons and tie the opposite direction around the ring in the center. This helps hide the ring. Fluff and clean up the ends if needed. Tip: If you use a larger metal ring, you may need to add more ribbons.

Your Gift Carrier is ready to fill. Tip: If you scrunch some tissue paper in the bottom of the Gift Carrier it helps fill the space and holds your gifts in place.
